A little more personal

Creator

Ever since I got a MacBook, I entered the content creation realm. The idea of coming up with ideas and pursuing them always excited me and allowed me to become a good learner. I started with doing small video projects using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro, some of which you can find under my projects. The more I learned how to use my MacBook the more I discovered how powerful it is and I decided to learn iOS development using Swift and Xcode. Through that I started working as the lead iOS developer in the STMI Machine learning lab at Texas A&M University and worked on different personal app projects that helped simplify my own life.

Rock Climber

As an outdoor and exercise enthusiast, rock climbing automatically becomes one of my favorite hobbies. The flow state of mind that I am able to get on when I'm getting an exhilirating rush of adrenaline while trying to get on top of a giant rock is one of my meditating states.

Backpacker

I love the outdoors and I love staying healthy. One of my favorite hobbies is backpacking. Through the complete disconnection of myself from a modern society, I've realized I have been able to find much higher appreciation for the little things in life (like a mandarin). Backpacking has taught me that things aren't always ideal, but you can always adapt, and not only survive, but thrive.

Teacher

I love teaching. Not only because I am spreading the knowledge that I have found to be useful for myself, but because everytime I have to teach something, I have to ensure that I am an expert in that topic, and in order to do that I do very comprehensive research on the topic and teach myself much more than I would be teaching others. In Feb 2020, I had the chance to represent Texas A&M Rec Sports and have a presentation over the proper utilization of kettlebells at TexFit (Texas Fitness Conference).
